The Northland Symphony Youth Sinfonia is an auditioned ensemble for developing musicians up to tenth grade.
Members play challenging repertoire as part of our orchestra. Our ensemble provides opportunities to perform with peers from throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. Our students will gain valuable ensemble experience.
It’s about improving musicianship skills while having fun.
Auditions for the Youth Sinfonia take place every year in Spring and are currently closed. Check back next year for more information, or email [email protected].
You must be enrolled in your school’s orchestra or band if offered.
We rehearse 1:00-2:30 pm on Sundays at William Jewell College, generally August through April.
We give three concerts per season between August and May.
Tuition for the NYS is $300 per season.
If a household has more than one student participating, the members will receive a 20% discount.
Scholarship assistance is available for those who qualify. Additional information will be available at the time of auditions.
Our orchestras could not exist without your generous donations. Every single dollar makes a difference and helps us achieve our mission.
