Celebrating our Young Artists Competition Winner
Meet our YAC Winner
Michael Fang is a rising senior at Liberty High School and studies cello with Dana Woolard. Michael has been a member of the Youth Symphony of Kansas City for the past two years and has earned a place in the Missouri All-State Orchestra for three consecutive years, serving as principal cellist in 2025. Michael also serves as church accompanist at both the First United Methodist Church of Excelsior Springs and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Aside from music, Michael enjoys spending time with friends biking, gardening, and exploring his interest in mathematics.

No tickets required - entry is free and general admission
About 1.5 hours with a 15-min intermission

We look forward to seeing you for our October 12 Concert. Tickets are not required to attend the concert, but we would like to know you are coming. This helps us better promote our events throughout the Northland and ensures we can notify you of any potential weather or concert updates.
Didn’t RSVP? You are always welcome to join us even if your plans change at the last minute. You can still register at the concert. Those that RSVP will be entered into a drawing at the end of the season for a $100 Chicken N Pickle gift certificate.
You will be entered into our Concert RSVP drawing held after our May concert. One entry per person, per concert. You will be notified by email the week of May 18, 2026, if you are the winner of the $100 gift certificate.
