The Movements

Symphonies generally encompass four movements, the first moderately fast, the second is usually the slowest, the third is a dance-like minuet and fourth, or finale, usually brings the work to a lively or triumphant conclusion. Please do not applaud between the movements. When the music is over you can clap, cheer, whistle and even yell "Bravo" to let the orchestra know you enjoyed the performance.
